Prep for bed bug treatment.

We’re going to keep this simple. This doesn’t need to feel overwhelming.

Nothing should leave the home unless we tell you.

Bed bugs and eggs can be anywhere. Moving things out can spread them.

What You Need To Do

Simple prep. Clear steps.

Pick up clothes and clutter

Pick up clothes and clutter off floors and closets.

Do not leave piles

Don’t leave piles on beds or furniture.

Vacuum dust and powders

Vacuum pet hair, dust, and any powder products.

Heat Sensitive Items

Set these aside in an open tote or basket.

Do not bag them. Leave them in the home. We’ll handle it.

Candles, crayons, deodorant

Anything likely to melt.

Aerosol cans and lighters

Anything pressurized or combustible.

Electronics

Unplug them and set them aside.

Medications

Prescription and irreplaceable medical items.

Plants and pets

These need to be removed from the treatment area.

Anything that could melt or warp

If you’re worried about it, set it aside for us to review.

After Treatment

Have clean clothes ready.

Anything worn or removed should be washed and dried on high heat before going back inside.
